Ehsan Zuberi is demanding a court-ordered audit from brothers Wali Ullah bin Zafar and Abu Hurerah bin Zafar (Al Rehman Communication — Wali Call Center / Abu Hurerah Call Center). The project began in 2024 with a service fee set at 33% of profits; the brothers never shared banking records. After charge-back claims and weeks declared at zero income, Ehsan paused work until payment was brought to the table — then resumed the business independently in 2025. Defamed when he demanded the audit, Ehsan sued; Advocate Sunaina Javed served the first legal notice, was herself defamed with character-assailing WhatsApp messages, and filed a complaint with the FIA in Islamabad. The defendants have failed to appear; the notice was published in Samaa News (Islamabad, 23 July 2026).
Courts in Islamabad have now ordered newspaper publication of the summons in the recovery and rendition of accounts (audit) suit against brothers Wali Ullah bin Zafar — also referred to as Wali Zuberi or Wali Ullah Zuberi — and Abu Hurerah bin Zafar, also referred to as Abu Hurerah Zuberi, after both men repeatedly evaded court summons and failed to appear at hearings. In the separate defamation suit, the court has announced ex-parte proceedings against Wali Ullah and ordered re-notice for Abu Hurerah. The brothers face a PKR 14.5 million recovery suit and a PKR 1 crore defamation suit filed by their relative, IT entrepreneur Ehsan Zuberi, who alleges fraudulent conduct in connection with their call-centre business, Al Rehman Communication (also known as Wali Call Center or Abu Hurerah Call Center). Ehsan demands audit from Wali and Hurerah; the brothers, collectively referred to as Wali & Hurerah, have not complied.
The notice addressed to Abu Hurerah was published in Samaa News' Islamabad edition on 23 July. It followed a hearing on 6 July in which the court noted that both men appeared to be avoiding service — physical summons went unserved, and WhatsApp delivery records showed one message had been read and never answered. The court has ordered a parallel re-service attempt on Wali Ullah through courier, postal, and WhatsApp channels ahead of the next hearing on 15 September.
The dispute started in 2024, when Ehsan Zuberi began providing IT and CRM services to the brothers' call-centre business, Al Rehman Communication (commonly known as Wali Call Center or Abu Hurerah Call Center), under a service fee set at 33% of profits. Despite repeated requests, the brothers never shared any banking transactions with Ehsan. On pay days, they instead narrated stories of client charge-backs to reduce the project income — at times declaring entire weeks at zero income.
After numerous warnings went in vain, Ehsan left the service seat: no more credit — money on the table, work done. This closed the illicit doors for the defendants. They stayed silent for five consecutive months with the project paused, even though Ehsan had already completed the major share of the work. When the time arrived to make money, the defendants played tricky games to keep him away from his legitimate income. Ehsan resumed the business independently in 2025.
Sensing professional defeat, the defendants launched a campaign of defamation against Ehsan, saying "we are ready for audit but Ehsan is running away." The case is otherwise — Ehsan knocked on the door of the court for an audit, and the first legal notice was rendered on behalf of Advocate Sunaina Javed. In a disturbing escalation, the defendants turned their harassment toward Advocate Sunaina Javed — the very counsel representing Ehsan Zuberi. They sent vulgar, character-assailing messages directly to her husband, seeking to malign her character and professional standing before her own spouse. The calculated attack inflicted immense mental anguish on the advocate’s household. Left with no option, she approached the NCCIA/FIA in Islamabad and initiated proceedings under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016. The defendants are still not showing up in court even after notices served by address and WhatsApp, and now after newspaper publication (Samaa News, Islamabad, 23 July 2026).
Ehsan Zuberi's dispute with the brothers is being litigated on two civil fronts. The first is the recovery and rendition of accounts (audit) suit, centred on IT and CRM services Ehsan Zuberi says his firm provided to M/s Al Rahman Communication (also Al Rehman Communication), the call-centre business run by the two men and commonly referred to as Wali Call Center or Abu Hurerah Call Center, between August and November 2024. Court filings put the value of services rendered at over PKR 16 million, against which roughly PKR 1.6 million was paid — leaving the disputed balance.
In a written reply dated 19 June, the brothers acknowledged the commercial dealing and the partial payments but rejected Ehsan Zuberi's demand for access to their accounts and business records, calling it a "fishing and roving inquiry". The reply offered, without admitting any obligation, a narrow and conditional independent verification process — subject to Ehsan Zuberi first specifying the exact material in dispute and agreeing to non-disclosure terms. The same reply disputed that formal service of the original notice had been completed by post, and reserved the brothers' right to pursue counter-claims alleging misuse of business data on Ehsan Zuberi's part.
The second is a defamation suit against the same two brothers, seeking PKR 1 crore in damages, over what Ehsan Zuberi alleges was a sustained campaign of fraudulent reputational attacks conducted through family WhatsApp groups after he ended the business relationship in late 2024. At the first hearing on 29 July 2026, neither Wali Ullah nor Abu Hurerah appeared before the court. The court has announced ex-parte proceedings against Wali Ullah and ordered re-notice (fresh service of the summons) for Abu Hurerah. (A related defamation claim involving a separate family member, Humair Zuberi, is being pursued independently and is not part of the case against Wali Ullah and Abu Hurerah.)
Separately from the civil suits, Advocate Sunaina Javed — who represents Ehsan Zuberi — has formally filed a complaint with the FIA in Islamabad over character-assailing WhatsApp messages. Investigations are underway.
The recovery and rendition of accounts (audit) suit returns to court on 15 September, with newspaper publication and re-service on Wali Ullah due to be completed beforehand. In the defamation suit, after the brothers failed to appear at the 29 July 2026 hearing, the court has announced ex-parte proceedings against Wali Ullah and ordered re-notice for Abu Hurerah. The FIA complaint in Islamabad remains under investigation.
