An honest first reading of your case — its genuine strengths, its risks, and whether going to court is even the right move. You are told if you do not have a case; that assessment is worth having either way.
Only if you choose to engage us do fees begin, and you receive the figure in writing first: a fixed fee for defined matters, stage-wise for litigation. Every payment is receipted. Nothing starts until you agree to it.
When cost is the barrier
Some people cannot afford a lawyer at the moment they most need one. Where a person is under real financial hardship and the matter merits it, Lex Justitia takes cases on without a fee.
This matters most in cases where a woman is facing violence or threat — where the cost of counsel is the only thing standing between her and protection — though it is not limited to women, and never has been. Anyone in genuine hardship is welcome to ask.

Each request is considered individually on the facts and your circumstances, and you will be told plainly whether the firm can take it on. There is no cost to ask, and what you share stays confidential.
Legal aid is a state or bar-council scheme for people who qualify under its own rules. What is described here is different: a private firm offering a free first consultation to anyone, and pro bono representation in cases it assesses and accepts. If your matter is better served by a legal-aid route or another organisation, we will tell you that in the first conversation rather than take up your time.
Whatever you already have — your CNIC, and any document central to the matter: an FIR copy, nikah nama, sale deed, agreement, cheque, legal notice or court paper. If you have nothing yet, come anyway; the conversation is still useful, and we will tell you exactly what to gather next.
No. There is no obligation of any kind. Many people come for a first assessment, take the honest reading of their position, and decide not to litigate at all — which is sometimes the right outcome. Nothing is charged and nothing is owed unless you choose to engage the firm.
Yes. Sunaina Javed, Advocate — the firm’s founder — personally conducts the family practice, and many clients specifically want to explain sensitive circumstances to a female counsel. Say so when you make contact and it will be arranged.
