Sunaina Javed, Advocate High Court, maintains a diverse litigation and advisory practice spanning corporate law and criminal defence. She advises multinational corporations, public sector entities, financial institutions and private clients across a broad spectrum of corporate, commercial, regulatory and governance matters, including company law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, banking and finance, foreign investment, regulatory compliance and commercial dispute resolution.
A significant and defining part of her practice lies in criminal litigation, where she is particularly recognised for her work in bail matters and narcotics cases. She regularly appears in pre-arrest and post-arrest bail applications, bail after arrest, and proceedings under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997, before the Sessions Courts and the High Court — combining rigorous scrutiny of investigative record, recovery procedure and chain of custody with a persuasive approach to relief at the earliest possible stage.
